Planned Maintenance – Connectivity Work Affecting Some Myriad Cloud Dedicated Customers
We have been informed that both BT and the secondary alternate connection provider will be carrying out critical national infrastructure connectivity work on February 3rd between 00:00 and 07:00, which will affect the Mediasite Data Centre that hosts some of our Myriad Cloud Dedicated customers.
The work itself is expected to take less than 15 minutes. However, as it impacts thousands of customers across the region, neither provider is able to confirm the exact timing within the maintenance window.
This work may briefly impact both the primary and secondary internet connections at the data centre. The two sets of work are expected to be staggered, meaning significant downtime should be avoided and at least one connection should remain available at all times. That said, in the unlikely event of an issue during the upgrades, there is a small possibility that both connections could be unavailable simultaneously.
Note: This maintenance does not affect stations running on Myriad Cloud (native), which are hosted in a different location.
During the maintenance window, you may notice brief disconnections to Myriad Anywhere and/or BR Live services. These should automatically reconnect within a short time. Streaming connections may also drop briefly before reconnecting automatically.
We recommend ensuring you have a fallback media file configured with your streaming provider, so your station remains on air in the event of a short connectivity interruption.
