Our electricity supplier has informed us that they need to carry out essential maintenance on the primary electricity supply to the Broadcast Radio Offices to replace an older generation electrical meter. This means that there may be a 30 minute period where some of our services are unavailable, including email technical support, although the telephones will still be working so please do call us direct for anything critical - +44 1482 350700
All primary server systems are protected and covered by UPS systems, so it's likely that there will be no operational issues, however if the work takes longer than expected there may be some disruption.
In preparation for this work, earlier in the day we will be switching our main technical infrastructure (including older Myriad Cloud hosted services) over to our secondary electrical provision and the UPS infrastructure will handle the transfer for the few seconds while that change happens so there should be no impact.
